For English 1010 I had to write an issue exploration essay. I chose the topic of the death penalty. While writing about the death penalty I learned about how to research, how to compose a thought provoking essay, and why the death penalty is such a controversial issue.
English 1010 was one of my harder classes. Not only because of the essays but because of how my teacher, Miss Turnbeaugh, challenged me to do better. The class was worth the work because I learned a lot about how to write and research.
